Error Codes

How to enter diagnostics mode:

To access lift and test limit switches, press SPEED UP, SPEED DOWN and INCLINE UP simultaneously and scroll through diagnostics.

MESSAGE	REASON FOR ERROR	RECOMMENDED ACTION
PACE ERROR 1	Motor accelerating too fast.	Check SCR, lower board, ribbon cable, upper board.
PACE ERROR 2	Drive pulse rate and feedback pulse rate do not agree.	Check hall effect sensor, motor brushes, SCR, lower board.
PACE ERROR 3	Motor control pulses sent no response from feedback circuit.	Check motor, motor brushes, lower board, ribbon cable, wiring, upper board.
PACE ERROR 4	Motor drive pulses interrupted while treadmill is operating.	Check hall effect sensor, lower board, ribbon cable, upper board.
PACE ERROR 5	No response when directed to stop under manual or software control.	Check keypad, upper board.
PACE ERROR 6	Loss of 60 Hz internal reference voltage.	Check lower board, ribbon cable, upper board.
PACE ERROR 7	Feedback pulse width not correct.	Check hall effect sensor, motor brushes, running bed, running belt, rollers, drive belt, etc.
LIFT ERROR	Lift inoperative.	Check lift fuse, lift capacitor, lift motor, lower board, ribbon cable, upper board.
LIFT ERROR	Unable to complete calibration.	Check 0-degree micro switch revolution counter, ribbon cable, upper board.
PROGRAM ERROR	Checksum read error.	Check prom, upper board.
LINE FREQUENCY ERROR	Noisy or incorrect line frequency or voltage.	Check for correct line voltage frequency, dedicated circuit.
STACK ERROR	Software Error.	Check prom, upper board.
MEMORY ERROR	Software Error.	Check prom, upper board.
KEY PRESSED	Key pressed during power up.	Check keypad, upper board.
